Micro-course hit the educators a few years ago. This new form of course quickly gained public attention. It is viewed as a high effective way of teaching by focusing on very specific knowledge. Under this circumstance, we not only ask our faculty to combine micro-course with teaching but also encourage students to sign up for the Micro-course Competition.
The highly acclaimed competition has won the heart of students since it’s launched. Each year, hundreds of students took part in the competition, covering various different majors including IT, chemistry, physics, literature etc.
By making their own micro-course videos, the students grasped a great opportunity to improve their language skills and creativity, which not only proved that we have made great achievements in teaching but also provided us inspiration for innovation in education.
