Full-Time Foreign Teachers Positions Wanted at Henan University
In order to speed up the globalization, expand the international horizons of students, College English Department of Henan University plans to recruit full- time foreign teachers for English language courses and language tutoring for non-English major students.
General duties:
1) 20 classes each week (50 minutes per class hour);
2) Teaching content includes College English Viewing, Listening and Speaking Course and other courses;
3) Complete the teaching tasks before the end of the semester, including correcting students' homework and statistical test scores;
4)Conduct at least one public class each semester;
5)Participate in activities organized by the university
Qualifications:
1) Compliance with Chinese law, good health, no criminal record
2) Native English speaker; Bachelor degree and above; at least 2 years of working experience
3)Holding language teaching qualification certificates such as TEFL, TESL, TESOL, TKT, CELTA, etc.;
4)Meet the requirements of the foreign professionals (class B) or foreign high-end talents (class A) prescribed in Guidelines for Work Permits for Foreigners in China issued by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (Apr. 1, 2017)
5) Good at communication, willing to engage in team work
Benefits of Employment:
1) monthly salary: 10,000 (before tax). Employment period is made by the academic year. The normal employment period is from September to the end of June with the annual salary paid for 10 months (No teaching task during Summer Vacation from July to August).
2)Housing: An apartment with one bedroom, one living room, one private bathroom, public kitchen and laundry room and free water, electricity, internet access and heating provided by Henan university
3)Travel: The cost of a round-trip international economy cabin air ticket to Zhengzhou and from the home country is provided (after one-year contract); the cost of one-way international economy cabin air ticket to Zhengzhou is provided (after half-year contract).
4)Medical Care (Insurance): Henan University will buy Safety Insurance for the employees. The employees can buy medical insurance on their own. The insurance company shall bear the cost of any accidental injury suffered by the employees within and outside Henan university during the contract period.
5) Holidays: 4-Week Winter Holidays with payment for a one-year contract; other paid Chinese holidays including New Year's Day; Spring Festival; International Workers' Day; China's National Day; Christmas (two days) and other statutory public holidays in China
